Formed from the ashes of their previous group Lay of the Land, Room to Live is a new project with an entirely different mission. Eschewing the professional recording studio for a more off-the-cuff lo-fi approach this album is a dense journey through a lot of different moods. The album features a wide variety of guests giving each song it's own distinct approach and flavor from the sugary sweet "American Flag Fondue" to the beautiful hymn-life "Hardly A Mistake" which kicks off the album's strongest suite of songs. Songs play off and bleed into each other creating a whole that is much greater than the sum of its parts. Floor Plan For The Comfort Zone is an album that will reward repeated listens.
