The second Lay of The Land EP featuring the smash single "Toast of The Town" picks up right where Entrance Presence left off with a new level of directness and refinement to the band's sound. The album features quite a few surprises including the hushed beauty of "Heralding", the frantic burst of punk in "Conventry Cove" and the creepy spoken word verses of "Brakish Kracken". The album closes with the pairing of "Life Can Wait" and "Moral Dream" both of which explore a dreamier side of the band's sound.
